Historically, grape production in Afghanistan reached an all time high of 1,113 kt in 2019 and an all time low of 225 kt in 1961. When compared to Afghanistan's main peers, grape production in Iran amounted to 1,418 kt, 109 kt in Pakistan, 257 kt in Tajikistan and 330 kt in Turkmenistan in 2022.
