Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Suriname reached an all time high of USD 128 mil in 2015 and an all time low of USD 27.0 mil in 1995. When compared to Suriname's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Brazil amounted to USD 17,068 mil, USD 103 mil in Guyana, USD 230 mil in Trinidad and Tobago and USD 2,920 mil in Venezuela in 2016.
