Historically, receipts of international tourism as a percentage of total exports in Greece reached an all time high of 35.4% in 1999 and an all time low of 10.5% in 2020. When compared to Greece's main peers, receipts of international tourism as a percentage of total exports in Albania amounted to 35.9%, 4.53% in Bulgaria, 3.52% in Macedonia and 6.76% in Turkey in 2020.
