Historically, maize production in Turkey reached an all time high of 8,500 kt in 2022 and an all time low of 800 kt in 1962. When compared to Turkey's main peers, maize production in Bulgaria amounted to 2,554 kt, 1,341 kt in Greece, 496 kt in Iraq and 300 kt in Iran in 2022.
