Historically, number of medical graduates in Slovakia reached an all time high of 1,081 persons in 2020 and an all time low of 404 persons in 1990. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, number of medical graduates in Austria amounted to 1,455 persons, 1,790 persons in Czechia, 1,574 persons in Hungary and 5,067 persons in Poland in 2021.
