Excel Sheet

Health care expenditures accounted for 7.5% of GDP on average in the Czech Republic in the last five years. This is one of the highest figures within the EMEA, but still well below the standards seen in the western Europe.

While Czechs spent USD 1,546 per capita on health care expenditures on average in 2011, it was more than USD 5,200 in Austria. Only 14.2% of that was paid by private funds in 2011, compared to 15.5% on average globally.
