Tatra banka's capital adequacy ratio reached 18.7% at the end of 2017, down from 19.7% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 19.7% in 2016 and an all time low of 10.4% in 2010.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 13.7% at the end of 2017, down from 15.3% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 93.0% at the end of 2017, down from 93.1% when compared to the previous year.
Comparing Tatra banka with its closest peers, VUB Banka ended the year 2017 with a capital adequacy ratio at 18.2% and loans to deposits of 121% and Slovenska Sporitelna with 18.7% and 93.9% respectively.
