Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 63.5% in 1Q2003 and an all time low of 12.1% in 4Q2007.
When compared to total assets, bank's cost amounted to 1.39% in 1Q2016, down from 0.758% a year earlier.
When compared to the nearest peers, Hypotecni Banka operated in 1Q2016 with a cost to income ratio of 28.7%, MONETA Money Bank reached 40.0% and Wustenrot Hypotecni banka some 42.7%.
The average cost to income ratio reached 46.8% in the Czech banking sector in 1Q2016.
