Based on a comparison of 38 countries in 2017, Denmark ranked the highest in retail loans as a share of GDP with 113% followed by Canada and Australia. On the other end of the scale was Angola with 3.42%, Argentina with 4.55% and Azerbaijan with 6.97%.
