Based on a comparison of 20 countries in 2015, South Africa ranked the highest in production of chromium ores and concentrates with 15,684 kt followed by Turkey and Kazakhstan. On the other end of the scale was Afghanistan with 4.50 kt, Kosovo with 12.7 kt and Philippines with 15.5 kt.
