Based on a comparison of 84 countries in 2015, China ranked the highest in gypsum and plaster production with 132,000 kt followed by Iran and Thailand. On the other end of the scale was Madagascar with 0.130 kt, Niger with 0.253 kt and Sri Lanka with 0.600 kt.
