Based on a comparison of 139 countries in 2015, Brunei ranked the highest in fossil fuel consumption as a percentage of total with 100.0% followed by Qatar and Algeria. On the other end of the scale was Dem. Republic of the Congo with 5.36%, Ethiopia with 6.57% and Zambia with 10.6%.
