Asbestos production reached 300,000 tonnes in 2015 in Brazil, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 3.61% less than in the previous year.
Historically, asbestos production in Brazil reached an all time high of 311,227 tonnes in 2014 and an all time low of 14,908 tonnes in 1970.
