Bank loans by public bodies reached EUR 1,236 bil in 2011 in the European Union, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.42% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loans by public bodies in the European Union reached an all time high of EUR 1,293 bil in 2010 and an all time low of EUR 836 bil in 1999.
