Catches in inland waters reached 40,259 Tonnes live weight in 2010 in Turkey, according to Eurostat. This is 2.74% more than in the previous year.
Historically, catches in inland waters in Turkey reached an all time high of 54,500 Tonnes live weight in 1998 and an all time low of 6,500 Tonnes live weight in 1961.
