Interest rate on bank deposits reached 6.00% in third quarter of 2015 in Sri Lanka, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.18% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, interest rate on bank deposits in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of 19.4% in 1Q1990 and an all time low of 4.91% in 2Q2004.
