Based on a comparison of 48 countries in 2016, USA ranked the highest in killed and injured in road traffic accidents with 1,747,000 persons followed by Japan and India. On the other end of the scale was Liechtenstein with 434 persons, Luxembourg with 983 persons and Iceland with 986 persons.
