Lignite coal production reached 1,333 kt in 2015 in Pakistan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 3.57% more than in the previous year.
Historically, lignite coal production in Pakistan reached an all time high of 2,216 kt in 2005 and an all time low of 927 kt in 2008.
