Non-performing loans reached CNY 1,706 bil in 2017 in China, according to the National Central Bank. This is 12.8% more than in the previous year.
Historically, non-performing loans in China reached an all time high of CNY 1,718 bil in 2004 and an all time low of CNY 428 bil in 2011.
China has been ranked 12th within the group of 107 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans.
