Based on a comparison of 21 countries in 2015, France ranked the highest in subsidies on animals at purchasing power parity with EUR 727 mil followed by Poland and Hungary. On the other end of the scale was Austria with EUR 4.62 mil, Slovakia with EUR 9.16 mil and Latvia with EUR 10.7 mil.
