Tea production reached 107,400 tonnes in 2022 in Nepal, according to Faostat. This is 9.21% less than in the previous year.
Historically, tea production in Nepal reached an all time high of 119,600 tonnes in 2020 and an all time low of 254 tonnes in 1974.
Nepal has been ranked 16th within the group of 45 countries we follow in terms of tea production.
