Tea production reached 110,000 tonnes in 2022 in Tanzania, according to Faostat. This is 21.4% less than in the previous year.
Historically, tea production in Tanzania reached an all time high of 162,000 tonnes in 2019 and an all time low of 4,310 tonnes in 1962.
