Based on a comparison of 16 countries in 2009, Macedonia ranked the highest in telecommunication revenues per capita with USD 3,653 followed by Azerbaijan and Latvia. On the other end of the scale was USA with USD 18.1 , Kazakhstan with USD 186 and Peru with USD 194 .
