Virgin Olive Oil Production in Italy

Virgin olive oil production reached 294,914 tonnes in 2014 in Italy, according to Faostat. This is 36.4% less than in the previous year.

Historically, virgin olive oil production in Italy reached an all time high of 824,000 tonnes in 1983 and an all time low of 163,250 tonnes in 1990.
