Scandinavians have traditionally the highest number of dentists (more than 10 per 10,000 inhabitants). No wonder, that Scandinavian 12-year old childern have the lowest number of decayed/missing/filled teeth (0.6 on average) compared to nearly two teeth of Slovak childerns (with fewer than 5 dentists per 10,000 people).
On the other hand, Japanese, Belgians and Dutch visit their dentists most often, 2-3 per year on average. With less than a single visit a year, average British goes to a dentist twice less often than average German and three times less than average Czech, for example.
