Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Belize reached an all time high of 31.4% in 1978 and an all time low of 12.7% in 2008. When compared to Belize's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Guatemala amounted to 11.5%, 14.5% in Honduras, 3.45% in Mexico and 1.34% in USA in 2015.
