Historically, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Mexico reached an all time high of 13.7 % in 1965 and an all time low of 3.29 % in 2008. When compared to Mexico's main peers, value added of agriculture as a share of GDP in Belize amounted to 14.5 %, 11.5 % in Guatemala, 14.5 % in Honduras and 1.34 % in USA in 2015.
