Historically, total apple consumption in Slovakia reached an all time high of 156 kt in 1989 and an all time low of 14.5 kt in 2006. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, total apple consumption in Austria amounted to 200 kt, 139 kt in Czechia, 381 kt in Hungary and 375 kt in Poland in 2021.
