Balance of trade in goods and services fell 40.5% to MVR -10.9 bil in Maldives in 2020, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, balance of trade in goods and services in Maldives reached an all time high of MVR 9.45 bil in 2014 and an all time low of MVR -11.1 bil in 2018. When compared to Maldives's main peers, balance of trade in goods and services in India amounted to INR -767 bil, IDR 241,952 bil in Indonesia, SGD 151 bil in Singapore and SKR -966 bil in Sri Lanka in 2020.
