Banca Transilvania's non-performing loans reached 6.31% of total loans at the end of 2019, down from 6.39% compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 18.4% in 2010 and an all time low of 3.53% in 2000.
Provision coverage amounted to 102% at the end of 2019, down from 103% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 0.770% of average loans in 2019. That's compared to 1.66% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
