Bank Deposits (Local Currency) rose 5.02% yoy to EUR 3,001 bil in Germany in 3Q2016

Bank deposits rose 5.02% yoy to EUR 3,001 bil in Germany in 3Q2016, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.50% more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank deposits in Germany reached an all time high of EUR 3,001 bil in 3Q2016 and an all time low of EUR 2,435 bil in 3Q2010.

Germany has been ranked 25th within the group of 72 countries we follow in terms of bank deposits, 25 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
