Bank equity reached 770,000 VND bil in fourth quarter of 2016 in Vietnam, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.08 % more than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank equity in Vietnam reached an all time high of 770,000 VND bil in fourth quarter of 2016 and an all time low of 670,996 VND bil in first quarter of 2015. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, bank equity in Cambodia amounted to 17,109 KHR bil, 4,695 CNY bil in China and 2,098 THB bil in Thailand in fourth quarter of 2016.
