Bank of Maharashtra's capital adequacy ratio reached 11.9% at the end of 2018, up from 11.0% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 13.4% in 2010 and an all time low of 10.3% in 2007.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 9.91% at the end of 2018, up from 9.01% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 58.8% at the end of 2018, down from 61.7% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 65.7%.
