Bank regulatory capital rose 16.2% to KZT 4,504 bil in Kazakhstan in 2019, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank regulatory capital in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of KZT 4,504 bil in 2019 and an all time low of KZT 824 bil in 2009. When compared to Kazakhstan's main peers, bank regulatory capital in China amounted to CNY 22,224 bil, KGS 43.2 bil in Kyrgyzstan, RUB 10,981 bil in Russia and UZS 52,467 bil in Uzbekistan in 2019.
