Historically, bank regulatory capital in Brunei reached an all time high of BND 2.34 bil in 2019 and an all time low of BND 1.45 bil in 2009. When compared to Brunei's main peers, bank regulatory capital in Indonesia amounted to IDR 1,418,275 bil, MYR 304 bil in Malaysia, PHP 1,729 bil in Philippines and VND 875,371 bil in Vietnam in 2019.
