Historically, total bean consumption in Myanmar reached an all time high of 171 kt in 1991 and an all time low of 44.3 kt in 1961. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, total bean consumption in China amounted to 379 kt, 5,275 kt in India, 3.00 kt in Laos and 84.0 kt in Thailand in 2021.
