BNP Paribas Personal Finance's non-performing loans reached 7.02% of total loans at the end of 2018, down from 7.41% compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 8.13% in 2013 and an all time low of 5.73% in 2007.
Provision coverage amounted to 67.6% at the end of 2018, down from 70.0% compared to a year earlier.
The bank created loan loss provisions worth of 1.31% of average loans in 2018. That's compared to 1.45% of loans the bank put aside to its cost on average in the last five years.
