Romanian banking sector provided corporate loans of RON 104 bil in 2017, up 2.46% when compared to the last year.
BRD Groupe Societe Generale accounted for 8.89% of all corporate loans issued in Romania at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in corporate loans reached an all time high of 18.4% in 2002 and an all time low of 8.57% in 2005.
That's compared to a 12.9% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
