Historically, cassava production in Nigeria reached an all time high of 65,351 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 7,384 kt in 1961. When compared to Nigeria's main peers, cassava production in Benin amounted to 4,350 kt, 6,268 kt in Cameroon, 290 kt in Chad and 435 kt in Niger in 2022.
