Historically, cereal production in Serbia reached an all time high of 10,355 kt in 1997 and an all time low of 5,263 kt in 2000. When compared to Serbia's main peers, cereal production in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 1,143 kt, 3,064 kt in Croatia, 12,734 kt in Hungary and 18,917 kt in Romania in 2015.
