Historically, cereal production in Hungary reached an all time high of 16,841 kt in 2008 and an all time low of 6,175 kt in 1961. When compared to Hungary's main peers, cereal production in Austria amounted to 4,933 kt, 7,288 kt in Czech Republic, 28,389 kt in Poland and 3,321 kt in Slovakia in 2015.
