China Bank's capital adequacy ratio reached 12.7% at the end of third quarter of 2019, down from 12.9% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 30.9% in 3Q2010 and an all time low of 12.2% in 4Q2016.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 13.6% at the end of third quarter of 2019, up from 12.3% compared to the same period of last year and down from 13.8% when compared to the the previous quarter.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 71.1% at the end of 3Q2019, down from 72.3% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 58.8%.
