On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of CNY 247,135 mil in 2018 and an all time low of CNY 8,154 mil in 2002. The average revenues in the last five years reached CNY 209,135 mil.
Comparing China Merchants Bank with its closest peers, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China generated a net profit of CNY 293,170 mil with revenues of CNY 740,231 mil in 2018, China Construction Bank netted CNY 254,655 mil (revenues of CNY 674,938 mil) and China CITIC Bank announced a net profit of CNY 44,513 mil (revenues of CNY 163,621 mil).
