On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to 13.3% at the end of 2017, up from -0.033% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 573% in 1982 and an all time low of -39.4% in 2007. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 7.61%.
At the end of 2017, Citibank Turkey's loans accounted for 66.4% of total deposits and 52.8% of total assets.
