Commerzbank's capital adequacy ratio reached 16.3% at the end of third quarter of 2019, up from 16.0% when compared to the previous quarter. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 19.2% in 4Q2013 and an all time low of 9.10% in 1Q2000.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 13.7% at the end of third quarter of 2019, down from 13.7% compared to the same period of last year and up from 13.3% when compared to the the previous quarter.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 109% at the end of 3Q2019, up from 97.0% when compared to the same period of last year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 133%.
