Distillate fuel oil consumption fell 7.37% to 13.7 '000 bpd in Nigeria in 2015, according to EIA.

Historically, distillate fuel oil consumption in Nigeria reached an all time high of 66.5 '000 bpd in 1995 and an all time low of 13.5 '000 bpd in 2012. When compared to Nigeria's main peers, distillate fuel oil consumption in Benin amounted to 11.4 '000 bpd, 16.6 '000 bpd in Cameroon, 1.35 '000 bpd in Chad and 6.03 '000 bpd in Niger in 2015.
