Historically, distillate fuel oil consumption in India reached an all time high of 1,420 '000 bpd in 2012 and an all time low of 351 '000 bpd in 1986. When compared to India's main peers, distillate fuel oil consumption in Bangladesh amounted to 66.3 '000 bpd, 3,514 '000 bpd in China, 149 '000 bpd in Pakistan and 38.6 '000 bpd in Sri Lanka in 2015.
