Electricity production from wind power reached 975 GWh in 2017 in Ukraine, according to World Bank / EIA. This is 2.18 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, electricity production from wind power in Ukraine reached an all time high of 1,130 GWh in 2014 and an all time low of 0.000 GWh in 1985. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, electricity production from wind power in Poland amounted to 14,906 GWh, 7,410 GWh in Romania and 139 GWh in Russia in 2017.

Ukraine has been ranked 40th within the group of 70 countries we follow in terms of electricity production from wind power, 6 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
