Energy dependence in hard coal & derivatives fell 12.5% to 9.80% in Bulgaria in 2016, according to World Bank / EIA.

Historically, energy dependence in hard coal & derivatives in Bulgaria reached an all time high of 42.6% in 2008 and an all time low of 9.80% in 2016. When compared to Bulgaria's main peers, energy dependence in hard coal & derivatives in Greece amounted to 4.40%, 20.2% in Romania, 7.70% in Serbia and 60.9% in Turkey in 2016.
