Historically, exports as a share of GDP in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of 0.740% in 1992 and an all time low of 0.285% in 2015. When compared to Kazakhstan's main peers, exports as a share of GDP in China amounted to 0.186%, 0.313% in Kyrgyzstan, 0.256% in Russia and 0.243% in Uzbekistan in 2020.
